Dr Ali Toufaili is a Consultant Cardiologist who has been serving the Macarthur community in both private practice and Public Hospital capacity for the last 17 years.  He graduated from MB. BS. degree from Sydney University in 1995 with Honours and went on to Physician’s training followed by Cardiology Advanced training in Westmead Public Hospital. He was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2004.

He has had a broad experience in various aspects of Cardiac practice and worked in several Hospitals in Sydney, including Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, Sydney South West Private Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital.

His involvement in Macarthur Area Health Service includes being Director of the CCU since his appointed at the Hospital in 2004. He has been part of various aspects of service application and improvement at the Hospital, clinical Cardiology practice, Echocardiography reporting, CTCA reporting and Teaching. He also is a CTCA Level B accredited specialist.

He strives to continue applying current best evidence-based Cardiology practice and serving the community in both private and public capacities in a subspecialty team approach
