Biography

Dr Adam C. Lee is a cardiac electrophysiologist based at Liverpool Public Hospital. He was awarded a PhD from the University of Queensland for research into PVC mediated cardiomyopathy. He completed cardiology training at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney from 2012-2014, then underwent subspecialty cardiac electrophysiology training at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane from 2015-2017, followed by additional research and advanced clinical electrophysiology fellowships at The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in San Francisco USA from 2017 – 2020. From 2020, he served as a cardiologist and electrophysiologist on faculty at UCSF until his return to Australia in mid 2023. In addition to his public appointment at Liverpool Hospital, he offers procedures at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital, Strathfield Private Hospital and The Sydney Adventist Hospital.

He specialists in the management of patients with complex arrhythmias and offers the following services:

  • Device management – pacemakers, ICDs, biventricular devices, conduction system pacing, subcutaneous ICD, leadless pacing, venoplasty and lead extraction
  • Ablation – SVTs, AF and complex left atrial arrhythmias (including vein of Marshall alcohol ablation), PVCs, complex ventricular tachycardia (including endocardial and epicardial ablation) and cardioneural ablation for cardioinhibitory vasovagal syncope
  • Most ablations can be offered without the use of fluoroscopy/X-rays
